How to tie a tie

I watched a video on how to tie a tie not because that interests me but because I have three brothers and half the time they can't tie their own tie so they come to me for help. But I mayself don't know how to tie one either. So I thought it would be best if one of us learned how. Now after I watched the video about five times I finally got it. It's not that easy to tie a tie I realized. However this video did help me so check it out!

Theodore Roosevelt Story

Theodore Roosevelt and The River of Doubt

After losing a Presidential election in 1913 Theodore Roosevelt went on a needed trip to South America where his son Kermit lived. Once he gets there the Foreign minister tells Teddy about an uncharted river also know as the River of Doubt located in the Amazon Basin Brazilin Jungle. Roosevelt gathered up a group of men to go explore the uncharted river. His son also accompanies him on the journey.

Theodore and his men set out on their dangerous journey in the fall on 1913. They reached the Amazon Basin Brazilin Jungle in December of 1913. During their adventure down the river the men encountered many difficulties. They also join with Candido Rondon, Brazil's most famous explore. First Theodore cut his leg horribly by a boulder. The cut got highly infected. Shortly after he got a bad case of malaria and wished to take his life by over dosing with the drug morphine. Thankfully his son Kermit finds out and stops him. This all happen to poor Theodore during the first 6 weeks of the expedition.

Later on during their trip the men have not so friendly encounters with Indians. They were attacked many times by them. They also came across dangerous and deadly rapids. These rapids were 30ft long and there were 6 sets of them. Therefore Kermit is forced to use a series of ropes to lower the boats down the wild rapids. An starvation became a large problem for the group of men only growing worse as the trip wet on. Then while Roosevelt himself was still fighting malaria, his own son Kermit got the disease as well. And just when the group thought things couldn’t get any worse a man is killed in the group by one of their own among the regiments.

Finally the men reached home after the long grueling journey. All but three men survived the expedition thankfully. They had explored and mapped 1,000 miles along what use to be an uncharted river. The river was renamed Rio Roosevelt due to the fact that Theodore Roosevelt himself started the expedition and survived it under horrible circumstances.

• ShareWear- Software that is available free of charge and often distributed informally for evaluation, after which a fee may be requested for continued use
• Open source- you get the soucre code in hope that people will add to it.
• Commercial use- One of the most significant factors for consideration regarding fair use, the concept may be more intuitive than scientific leaving it difficult to define

The FTC also known as the Federal Trade Commission is an independent agency of the United States federal government that is responsible for enforcing the federal antitrust laws and to educate the people about identity theft. Copyright and CC falls into this category because, it has to do with people stealing items from others and calling it their own.

Copyright

Hello! I’m doing some research on copyright for music and lyrics, here it is! When you write music you have copyrights upon your completion of the work these copyrights last up until 70 years after the composer’s death or a total of 95 years. Having a copyright means you own the exclusive rights to the composition also know as Intellectual Property. The current year for Public Domain in the United States is January 1st 2019. The difference between public domain and proof of public domain is, in public domain anyone can use your work and if you have proof of public domain anyone can use your work but they must cite or give you credit.

In order for you to better understand what I just told you. Here is a list of the rules for copyright music and lyrics.
• Students and teachers creating educational materials must follow the guidelines and site the source
• You can use up to 10% (no more than 1000 words)
• You can use up to 250 words of an entire poem
• You may not use more the 3 poems or portions of a poem by one poet
• You may use a signal photograph
• You may not use more than 5 images by a signal artist
• In plays, movies or TV shows you can’t use more than 10%
• For music you can only use 30 seconds

One famous case on music or lyric copyrights you may or may not know of is Vanilla Ice vs. Queen& Bowie. The song “Ice Ice baby” by Vanilla Ice has some of the same rhythm of the baseline as the song “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie’s. Vanilla thought by changing the baseline rhythm he could avoid questions about crediting Queen& Bowie. Although the case never made it to court it was clear the Vanilla stole the sample without permission. The group of artists settled out of court for an undisclosed but probably high amount on Vanilla Ice’s part.

Hey guys! I watched a movie on Identity Theft the other day in Online A which wasn't half bad to be honest and here is some feedback!
The mistake that Nancy Trejos made that caused her to be a victim of identity theft was purchasing with a debt card. The problem with this was once someone gets your information and buys items you may not be reimbursed with all the money you lost. I feel identity theft is a more common problem these days because of the fact that it is extremely easy to access information with all the purchases made online or over the phone today.
The documents or personal belongings a person would have to obtain to steal ones identity are, your Social Security number, drivers license, Credit card number or financial documents from your trash or mailbox. Good ways to protect yourself from identity theft are, avoid caring around any identification with you social security number on it, shred financial documents and check your credit report regularly. Also just use standard common sense. Never give out personal information over the computer or phone without knowing who you’re giving it too and stop and check to see what you have in your wallet before leaving the house in case it does get stolen so you are aware of the information a person would get if they obtained your wallet.

When identity theft is committed I feel the person who is to blame is the person who stole the identity. It is most defiantly not the fault of the person whose identity was stolen no one would purposely bring that upon themselves. The thief should not be running off with other people’s personal information and committing fraud. It’s unnecessary and rude. Not to mention illegal!!

Fire Scout UAV makes first biofuel-powered flight!!!

The US Navy achieves the first biofuel-powered flight using its MQ-8B Fire Scout Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UVA). The flight took place on Friday over Webster Field in St. Inigoes, Maryland the aircraft was unmanned. The aircraft ran on a mix of JP-5 aviation fuel and plant-based camelina cutting carbon dioxide output by 75 percent when compared to conventional aviation fuel. This new technology is part of a bigger push by the Navy towards increasing energy independence and clean energy economy. When the Navy finally achieves this goal the environment will be better off due to the cut back in pollutants released into the air by aircrafts. Also they could apply this to the airplanes that regular US citizens use today to travel from place to place.

Jean Hoerni

Jean Hoerni was born September 26, 1924 in Switzerland. He was considered a pioneer of his time because, he invented the Planar process which is also know as the Micro Chip. The Planar process is a manufacturing process used to build individual components of transistors and connect them. It’s the basic process that is use to build integrated circuits. The Planar Process is a silicon-transistor manufacturing process with a fractional-micrometer-thick oxide layer that is grown on a silicon substrate
Hoerni’s invention is still used toady. His invention made it so we can make computer smaller and less space consuming. But they still can hold just as much if not more information as older computer models. This discovery will most likely help us reduce computer size in the feature as well. With out Hoerni’s invention I would probably not be typing this very blog post right now in this class room with so many computer because they would still be to large and there wouldn’t be enough space to fit enough computers to have a full class.

I’m back once again and still talking about QR Codes!
No, my phone is not able to read these messages. But yes I think this could possibly become a new trend. Especially with all the new iPones and iPads coming out that everyone is buying which can read these messages. I think QR Codes can be used in the classroom for the learning foreign languages. Also you could place them on all the bones of a science class skeleton.

My QR Code

Here is a QR code made by me, myself and I. I made this for my Online A class. Devices like the iPod touch and iPhone with cameras can read these. They are becoming of more use at place such as airports for boarding passes and some schools are having teachers puts a QR Code on everything in the classroom that gives its name in a foreign languages to help students learn different languages. Could this possibly be the new trend?
